Students will discover the unique characteristics of the Netarts Bay area which will later be compared to Tillamook Bay in the Fish & Habitats program. This program includes a visit to Netarts Bay, the Octopus Tree, and Cape Meares Lighthouse. This program complements the Fish & Habitats program.

This field trip is best for 1st grade; however, we have hosted K – 2nd graders.

Fish & Habitats

A compliment to the Cape to Cape program, students explore and learn about what influences the different habitats in our bays, estuaries, beaches, and oceans during this fun program. By observing different fish and other aquatic animals in each ecosystem, emphasis is placed on adaptations that help animals survive.

This field trip is best for 1st grade; however, we have hosted K – 2nd graders.
